Former A&R of the international dance department at Helicon records, Israel’s distributor of Virgin and EMI, Dor Dekel is a working club DJ, a radio DJ and one of the leading dance music producers in Israel. His weekly radio show, ‘Line Out with Dor Dekel’ on 100FM, is the leading club oriented show in Israel, hosting the biggest names in the industry, like Paul Oakenfold, Bob Sinclar, Steve Angello, Laidback Luke,Avicii and many more.. It also produces a series of best-selling compilation albums.
Being a top-of-the-line club DJ in Israel, Dor has played all of the biggest clubs, events and festivals in the country, such as Ha’oman Tel Aviv, TLV, The Gay Parade, Revolution @ Eilat, Ha’oman Jerusalem, Cat & Dog TLV, Forum Club Beer Sheva and more. These days Dor is focusing on his new label, named after his famous radio show, Line Out Recordings. Working under this label, Dor continues releasing new tracks, remixes and compilations and signing up new artists on the club scene from all over the globe.
Furthering his career as a producer, Dor has worked with and remixed some of the top Israeli artists, including Yardena Arazi, ‘Terry Poison’, Dana International, Dor Daniel, Gilad Segev, Shiri Maimon and many more. Some of his work got worldwide release’ such as remixes for Afrojack (Spinnin), Swedish group ‘September’ (Kontor) , Offer Nissim (Star69), Boys Of Freedom (Big Management USA).
Dor has also made it to the front of the stage as a performer, as part of the club/dance Israeli duo, ‘Hovevey Zion,’ creating the biggest hit in Israel in 2007 – “Rotse Banot” (‘I Want Girls’). As a result of the massive success, the act was cast to star in a national television campaign for Israel’s largest cell phone company (Cellcom), and ventured out on a successful club tour.
