First Pictures of Jean Cloude Van Damme in Tel Aviv

Mar 06 2012

The man and the muscle “Wham Bam Van Damme” landed in Tel Aviv on Thursday for a personal visit and he’s going to spend a whole week in Israel, staying in the presidential suite of the David Intercontinental hotel in Tel Aviv, same one that Madonna stayed in during her last visit in 2009.

This is the fourth time Van Damme is visiting Israel. This time he’s there for personal reasons, visiting the holy sites in Jerusalem and clubbing in Tel Aviv. During the weekend he was already spotted pumping muscles at a local gym in Tel Aviv, then he was seen in a café on Ben Yehuda street (which is where the photos were taken, by photographer Nir Pekin of the Israeli Walla website), and finally he was clubbing at the most hipster dance bar in town “The Cat and the Dog,” where he met  actor Stephen Dorff, who’s currently in the country filming a new movie, and was there with some Israeli friends.

An Israeli report says that Dorff came to say ‘hi’ to Van Damme, but the muscles from Brussels didn’t have a clue who he was, and gave his bodyguards an instruction to forbid Dorff to come near him. Awkward!

Have fun, Jean Claude! (looks like you already do!)
