In the midst of this week’s celebrity visit to Israel, stars of Showtime’s “Homeland” Claire Danes & Mandy Patinkin have both separately taken an earlier to Tel Aviv and have arrived a few days ahead of their local shootings for season 2 of the Golden Globe winning thriller drama series. Maybe even to join in the ongoing events arranged by America’s Voices in Israel’s delegation.
The production of the Israel shoot for the upcoming season is already underway, with recently cast local actors on hand and an expected welcoming party scheduled to take place during their stay, which will be organized by Keshet Broadcasting.
Meanwhile, the celebrities touring Israel as of Sunday continue to share their experiences. While out and about in Tel Aviv’s nightlife, “House” star Omar Epps continues to upload pics via Twitter and Instagram. Holly Robinson Peete did the same while posing with “The Vampire Diaries”‘s Zach Roerig as the Hassan Bek Mosque, located at the south end of the city, is in the background.
While she skipped out on the evening outing, “90210″ starlet Annalynne McCord joined the rest of the group yesterday for a visit to one of the biggest IDF Air Force base where she received an honorary army cap and got to sit in one of the cockpit of the first ever fighter plane. Epps and “ER”‘s Mekhi Phifer apparently just got to pose in front of it. McCord has also taken to twitter to express her emotional visit to the deaf-blind “Nalaga’at (DO Touch)” Theater in Jaffa.
