IMDB Presents: Adolf Hitler ‘Professional’ Page
Looking for data on IMDB about the latest movies and TV shows, and the hot new moviestars, we don’t suppose you ran into Adolf Hitler’s official IMDB page. It’s strange to see Hitler’s “filmography” and credits including writer for 5 titles (the last of them, is a 1994 adaptation of ‘Mein Kampf’ for a TV movie), and also appears as “Self” in 25 titles, including 1945’s ‘Tonight and Every Night’ in which he appeared to have contributed his voice. You know, like in a Disney movie.
But the weirdness doesn’t stop there; Hitler’s also credited as “Miscellaneous Crew” in a 1935 movie titled ‘Triumph of the Will’ where his credit is “commissioned by.” We can’t help but ask if Hitler’s page should be treated like any other star or could IMDB be more sensitive about these credits without tagging Hitler “star” as “self” or “(voice)”?
Abbanibi’s request for a comment from an IMDB representative didn’t meet the deadline.
