DETROIT: We just LOVE initiative people! Liza Sherbin and Nicole Hollander of West Bloomfield, both sophomores at the University of Michigan and Andover High School graduates, love fashion and were inspired to create a line of bracelets that they could wear with any outfit, on any day of the week.
So back in April, the girls began planning their business, Bella Beads, a brand new line of trendy and fashionable bracelets for men and women at great prices created and designed by Sherbin and Hollander, who, in addition to learning jewelry design, also learned what it takes to launch a business. “We were on a vacation. and Nicole and I kept seeing pretty beaded bracelets but could not believe how expensive each one was,” said Sherbin. “We knew with a bit of business research and creativity we could develop our own line of bracelets that could be more affordable yet not give up the fun and trendy look.”
