On the 25th of July Tom Peled will land in LA and start the bike journey that will end on October 21st in NYC. Throughout the 3000 miles of the journey he’ll pass through Jewish communities, Campuses and Sporting events and hold fundraising events-all for the benefit of the Israel Cancer Research Fund.

Tom Peled explains what brought him to embark on the amazing coast-to-coast trip on a bicycle, starting August 1st, to raise money for cancer research in Israel. “Israel is the startup nation," he says, "the cure will come from here.” And after yesterday's news, looks like he might be right!

Week 4: August 19th – August 25th (500 km/312 mile) Riding from Milford, UT to Dinosaur, CO
Week 5 : August 26th to September 1st(440km/275 miles) Riding from Dinosaur, CO to Cheyenne, WY
Week 6: September 2nd – September 8th(500km/312 mile) Riding from Cheyenne, WY to Kearney, NE
Week 7: September 9th – September 15th(520km/320miles) Riding from Kearney, NE to Des Moines, IA
Week 8: September 16th – September 22nd (540km/340miles) Riding from to Des Moines, IA to Chicago, IL
Week 9: September 23rd – September 29th (520km/ 320 miles) Riding from Chicago, IL to Cleveland, OH
Week 10: September 30th – October 6th (460 km/ 280 miles) Riding from Cleveland, OH to Hagerstown, PA
Week 11: October 7th – October 13th (380 km/240 miles) Riding from Hagerstown, PA to Philadelphia, PA

Israel Develops Cancer Vaccine

In a breakthrough development, an Israeli company has formulated a therapeutic cancer vaccine, now in clinical trials at Hadassah University Medical Center in Jerusalem. If all goes well, the vaccine could be available in about six years, not only to help treat cancer but in order to keep the disease from recurring.
