Moishe House

Dec 14 2011

Moishe House is an international organization providing meaningful Jewish experiences to young adults in their twenties. The House supports and sponsors young Jewish leaders as they create vibrant home-based communities for their peers. The Organization’s scalable approach has enabled the existing 42 houses worldwide to engage more than 40,000 attendees a year. From Shabbat dinners to book clubs to sporting events, residents find ways to connect their peers with the community wherever they are.

Why we chose Moishe House for Maccabim 2011? Moishe House makes Jewdism “Cool.” The houses in Los Angeles, St. Louis, Baltimore, Denver and 22 more places across the US re-connect young adults with their Jewish identity and culture through social and educational events, Shabbat dinners, holiday celebrations, group learning, social justice programs and cultural events.
